These can be worn as arm-warmers or legwarmers depending on preference and size. This pattern is great for those single skeins of worsted weight self-striping yarn--just make sure the color repeats are at least as long as the number of stitches you cast on.

The size is easily adjustable. Measure around the upper part of the recipient’s forearm and cast on the number of stitches according to gauge. Then add or subtract according to ease preference. (The model’s forearm is 9.75” around and the finished size is 10”.) There are 6 stitches per pattern repeat, but a multiple of 4 is needed for the 2 x 2 ribbing at the beginning, unless you use a different ribbing.
