Cabled cuff mittens

Knitting
Aran / 10 ply (8 wpi) ?
18.5 stitches = 4 inches in stockingette stitch
US 8 - 5.0 mm
192 yards (176 m)
Women's medium

These mittens have a cabled cuff that resembles a braid. The cuff is knit flat, and then seamed. Next pick up stitches along the edge of the cuff, and knit the hand of the mitten in a different color of yarn, if you would prefer. The thumbs are on the side of the hands, which makes the mittens reversible and comfortable to wear. Shown in Wool of the Andes Avacado and Shamrock Connelly.
