These fingerless gloves are made of a very fine 4 ply merino/possum/alpaca/nylon blend. The final effect is soft and warm and lightweight. The small percentage of nylon in this yarn adds some stretch and tension, which is accentuated by the ribbed pattern. They would also look great in a dark grey or brown color for a more rugged look.
