This pattern is written to be worked in the round on 2 circular needles. It is easily adapted to be knit using dpn’s or magic loop. The cables gently wind their way from the wrist to the fingers and are simple enough for someone who has never worked cables before. The 4x2 ribbing which is the basis for the cables, is continued on the palm to help the mitts fit snugly. These mitts are worked at a tighter gauge than you would normally use for worsted weight yarn to make them extra warm for those blustery winter days.
