“A perfect design for all members of the ‘mad for cables’ crowd, with an up-to-the-minute addition of a K2,P2 band encircling the body and clinging comfortably to the back of the neck.

Sides of the piece are straight. Armholes are gently set in and the shoulders and neck are shaped.

This is a surprisingly slimming design given the aran yarn weight and cable stitching. It’s the narrowly vertical orientation of the cables that does it.

(Type/font is somewhat small because of the detailed cable instructions. But if you’re at all familiar with cables, you’ll see where they’re going without having to refer too often to the pattern-- Ed.)“
