This cabled hat is a simple winter hat with a line of adorable owls just above the cuff. After knitting, the owl eyes are accentuated by small buttons in contrasting or coordinating colors.

The pattern is written out, with the owl section also charted. Instructions are provided for both child and adult sizes. Recommendations for buttons are also given. Stitches used include knit, purl, knit front-and-back, knit two together, and cables. Suitable for a confident beginner.

The hat knits quickly from the bottom up, and can easily be finished in one day. Please note: Due to the nature of cables, the hat may appear too narrow while on the needles, but will stretch to the appropriate size when worn.

Pattern has been test knit, but please feel free to message me with any questions.
