I designed the Cabled Stocking Cutlery holder in knit version a long time ago and wanted to make the cutlery holder in crochet, but i couldn’t come up with any stitches to make it look similar to it’s knit version until this year, i finally did it. It looks almost identical to it’s knit version.

This pattern is not meant for beginners, you will need to know certain stitches to create that stocking. You should know how to do cables ( fpdc and bpdc) and also waistcoat stitch.

The cuff is worked back and forth and sewn together to form the cuff and then you work in the rounds for the rest of the sock. At the heel part you will work in short rows, which sounds more difficult then it is.

All in all it’s a fun little project that can be completed within a day and if you like to challenge yourself now and then, then that’s the perfect project for you, not to mention that the cutlery holders are always a hit at every Christmas Party.
