Yarn Choices (from the pattern):

A cotton/synthetic blend would be an excellent choice since the synthetic is lighter weight than the cotton and it will keep the cotton from shrinking. Look for blends with acrylic, nylon or microfiber. Other choices are cotton and natural fiber blends, rayon, lyocel or Tencel (similar to rayon), 100% acrylic, silk, linen, hemp, and any number of synthetic or natural fiber novelty yarns including tapes and ribbons.
