Take a lovely, soft worsted-weight yarn like Aurora 8 (or that great standby, Cascade 220), knit it down a bit for extra oomph, and then add a couple of great, easy cables … and presto! One fabulous wardrobe staple.

It seemed like there was always one person in every one of my workshops who asked “Can I put a cable down the front of my top-down?” So here’s your answer -- definitively YES!

Enjoy.

ERRATA NOTE 2/10: bottom of page 2, when you have 92 (100, 108, 124, 132) stitches in the back, you will have 60 (76, 92, 100) stitches in each sleeve. Sleeve numbers for last two sizes corrected here.
