The gloves, cowl and hat are worked in the round, from the bottom up, with no seaming required. Works out to 3 skeins of Lana Gatto Camel Hair and one skein of Schulana Kid Seta.

Pure luxury. The mix of Camel Hair and Mohair Silk provides a light sheen and a slight fuzziness that makes the hat and cowl extremely soft.

The cable and seed stitch pattern in the mitts is interesting for the intermediate knitter while being a good introduction to beginners – the pattern is fully charted.

The cowl is simple yet elegant; it is done in short rows so that the back is shorter than the front giving it less bulk under a coat. It wraps nicely around the neck. Very quick knit on 8mm needle.

I did not design the hat but to use up the leftover mohair silk, I have added my version of the So Quick I-Cord Edged Beret designed by Samiha Qureshi – simple and beautiful.
