This beautiful pattern is easier than it looks, but still requires an understanding of lace techniques. The antique lace stitch has decreases and yarn overs on both the knit and the purl sides of the work!

It’s a flexible pattern; it can be made into a long and narrow scarf, a wide showstopper of a stole, a beautiful and delicate shrug or lovely flickery curtains. (I’m working on curtains, myself!) Try it in heavier yarn to make a stunning blanket.
