Cables on the Horizon Blanket
Cables on the Horizon Blanket is a great use of cables displayed in a different way. These run horizontally, along with open work, to create 2 layers of stripes for this lovely throw blanket. The finished blanket measures about 50” (127 cm) X 63” (160 cm). There are pictures to make the cable process easier, so if this is your first crochet cable piece, you should have no problems.
Skill Level: Intermediate - you need to be able to treble crochet and follow cable instructions.
Materials:
- 14 (164 yards each) skeins worsted weight cotton yarn. (Knit Picks Simply Worsted Organic Cotton yarn was used for the blanket pictured.)
- Size H crochet hook
- Yarn needle
