The Cabot Cove cowl was inspired by a fantastic colour work sweater worn by Jessica Fletcher in an episode of Murder, She Wrote! I can imagine Jessica wearing this cowl around Cabot Cove, running errands and solving crimes!

The cowl starts with a provisional cast on, and is then knitted to a double height before being folded in on itself and seamed using kitchener stitch. There is a diagram to help you with this.
