Cabriolet Ride uses lace weight yarn, DOUBLED, (or any yarn that gets correct gauge) to create a warm yet delicate fingerless glove.
Buttonholes are easily made with twisted cord (directions included) but you could omit loops and just add buttons, sewing wrist stitches closed. The gloves are constructed from wrist toward fingers; cuffs are knit from side to side then wrapped around the wrist. Stitches are picked up at the top edge of this wavy cuff for completion of hand.
Two buttons on each glove complete the comfortable fit.

Stitches used:
stockinette
bobbles (easy directions given)
M1R increase
M1L increase
garter stitch
ripple (only 1 row is not all knit or all purled so no chart is needed:)

This pattern is perfect for that small amount of luxury yarn you’ve been saving. (It was a fun/satisfying knit for me because it developed quickly and beautifully.)
