Pattern is written for “Tricot Ecossais”, and includes instructions for working this technique. Philosophers continue debating whether and how much this technique is similar to or different from “Tunisian Crochet”.

The work requires rather aggressive blocking to come to the desired shape. It may be helpful to work the outside edge of the yoke in a very loose gauge and tighten the gauge towards the inner edge.
