Using the same stitch pattern as my Cadgwith cardigan these socks are knitted top down with the pattern spread across the front of the sock. As always I’ve included tick off charts within the pattern so if you print it out you can keep a note of where you are.

Difficulty
Knitted from the top down using knit and purl stitches, knitting stitches together to decrease, picking up stitches and finishing with a Kitchener stitch toe closure

Ingredients
o Fingering or sock weight yarn 60 to 80 grams (I used 60 grams for a size 7)
o Set of five 2.5mm double pointed needles
o Tapestry needle
o Measuring tape
o Scissors
o Two stitch markers (optional but helpful)
o If you decide to knit these on a small circular needle you will also need an additional three stitch markers to mark the stitch count for each needle
