I’m happy for being able to design a feminine shawl with a worsted weight yarn!
Because is worked with a thicker yarn, Cadhla shawl is a fast knit project, perfect for Xmas gifts! You will need about 260yds of worsted weight yarn.

Here in Brazil we are celebrating the work from the wool producers from Fazenda Caixa D’gua. They focus on cruelty free shearing, and their yarns are naturally dyed with flowers and native plants.
The result is a ultra soft single-ply yarn with the most beautiful colors.
Cadhla Shawl is my way to congratulate their extraordinary job!

Cadhla is worked bottom-up starting with the lace border. The half moon shape is worked with short rows at the Stockinette stitch section.

You can work with any worsted yarn. However, I would like to suggest single-ply yarns because they enhance the stitch motif.
