The Cadillac Ranch is one of my favorite stops on Route 66. I love how Destination Yarn captured the look of the paint on the cars and contrasted that with the color of empty paint cans. These colors are exclusive to the Good Vibes Yarn Tour, but I’m sure you have that very variegated yarn in your stash that you didn’t know what to do with until now.

This cowl is knit flat on the bias and seamed up the back, resulting in a bandana shape. I like to fold the top in so that the right side of the fabric shows, even on the inside.

Throughout the pattern, you will alternate between 2 rows of the MC and 2 rows of the CC. Do not cut yarns unless told to do so.

I’ve divided the pattern into three sections. To make it easier, read through the pattern and highlight where the increases and decreases are in each section.

When seaming, I picked up the “knots” on the edge of each row, in order to eliminate seam allowance.
