Purchase includes both patterns (i.e. the ladies version and the men’s version).

These slippers make an ideal gift, so the patterns both include a sizing table to guide in selecting which size to knit according to shoe size. These patterns will work hard for you!

The slippers have a seamless toe-up construction.

Full written instructions are given for each stage of the project. Charts are also included for the knot motif.

The patterns include links to online tutorials for all special techniques involved (Turkish cast-on, knitting through the back loop, applied I-cord, wrapped stitches, provisional cast-on).

Either worsted-weight yarn or doubled 4ply/fingering yarns may be used. The ladies version pictured was knitted with Cascade 220 (a worsted-weight yarn) and the men’s version was knitted with Opal Uni (a 4ply sock yarn).

Please note: Cair Paravel was one of my earliest designs, and the pattern needs updating to reflect my current quality and presentation, hence the low price.
