Meet Cairngorm, the latest Fair Isle Design created by Di Gilpin.
Two fabulous new colourways reflecting the moods and seasons of these iconic mountains in Scotland. One for the rich fauna and flora of summer, “Braemar”, and one for the chill of a Cairngorm winter, “Ptarmigan”. I was inspired to celebrate Nan Shepherd’s writings and travels, with nods to the artist Paul Klee’s work and the richness of the design house Missoni. This design epitomises the colours and textures of the Scottish landscape and my love of trees.
Di Gilpin Lalland DK Lambswool (100% lambswool spun in Scotland, colour blended by Di and finished in Yorkshire). 50 gram balls. Meterage: 175m/190yds to 50gr.
