An easily remembered stitch pattern makes for relaxing “on the go” projects. The versatile cowl in two sizes, and scarf may be worn many ways! Either side of the cowl may be slipped over the head and folded down for a turtleneck look, or worn the full height and secured with a decorative pin for more formal look!

The cowl is made with aran weight yarn, the scarf with dk weight yarn. Cascade Lana Bambu #4 (not #3).

Skills Required: long tail cast on, knitting in the round. All other techniques explained in the pattern. Overview of blocking (for the scarf) and care of knitted items included.

May also be ordered in print form from my website

The scarf was knit with a 2 ply mohair-wool blend yarn from a local Vermont company: Vivian Acres, Pink’s Pretty Swirls, in the “Vermont Fall” colorway.
