Cali the Cactus is an easy and fun stash busting crochet pattern. This cactus works up with scraps of yarn from previous projects. The cactus is a great stuffed animal companion or a cute addition to a shelf to liven up any room.

NOTES
This pattern is worked in US terms.
This stuffed animal pattern is worked flat to begin and then later seamed.
Cali is approximately 7 inches tall and 12.5 inches around when finished with my gauge, however, gauge is not important.
Ch 1 at beginning of each row does not count as a stitch. Place your first sc in the very first stitch of each row.
Flower rounds are worked in closed rounds (sl st to close and chain up). Bottom cap rounds are worked in continuous rounds (no sl st to close).
