March and April are my favorites months for our California native plant garden. Everything’s in bloom: the various Ceanothus, the Galvesia, and especially the poppies, Eschscholzia californica. In years in which we’ve gotten a lot of rain our yard is blanketed in orange blooms.

The mitts (with the exception of the thumb top border, which is only written) can be worked from the charts only. Refer to the written instructions if easier for lace and decrease rounds.
