Video Tutorial

This beautifully detailed afghan is inspired by the lovely crocheted baby blanket found in BBC’s Call The Midwife TV show.
This pattern is written in American English crochet terms.

This pattern is now translated into Danish by Bente Mim Poulsen. At check out your can choose the English or the danish pattern.

I’ve written this pattern to be made in any size you desire. Once you determine how many “blocks” you want your blankets width to be you will crochet it as long as you wish. The pattern comes with additional chain lengths. Then you can add the border if you like it.
Also feel free to use any yarn you want, just make sure you are using the hook recommended for the yarn, or something close.

Start with 2 blocks and a base chain of 41 for the gauge swatch.

Thank you for choosing my pattern!!
