Calumet is a small shawl worked sideways with a gentle curve into a long crescent shape. It can be used as a shoulder wrap during cold evenings over bare shoulder. It can also be worn as a scarf for a little touch of glamour to any outfit. The simple, easy to memorize lace pattern is clear and geometric, for a modern look.

Stitches for the ruffles are picked up along the lace border and worked after the body of the scarf is completed. This makes for a fast and rewarding project! It is designed to be knit with only one 100gr skein of fingering weight yarn, or with 2 skeins of 50gr.

Pattern is written only, and the lace is simple enough not to need a chart.

This pattern is part of my collection ‘It’s so FLUFFY!’, featuring 6 small shawls to knit with ruffles. If you previously bought the pattern and are interested in buying the ebook, you will receive 3$ discount towards the price of the collection. This promotion will end when the last pattern of the collection is published.
