Asymmetric scarf made out of sport weight linen yarn, using 2 colours in colour blocks which are blended together with a clever slip stitch.
A feature of this pattern is that despite working with 2 different colours in large blocks, there will only be 4 ends to weave in: 2 at the beginning and 2 at the end.
Finished measurements: 170cm long (67”) and 38cm wide (15”) approx after washing.
The scarf can be made bigger if required, by adding extra blocks of colour, but the yarn requirements will increase.
The pattern requires 2 hanks (100g) of eco-stitch linen Sport yarn, one of each colour. It can be knitted using similar shades to give a gradient look, or you can choose 2 contrasting colours, for a more striking effect. The photos show the design made with Seaspray (blue/green) and Serenity (pale blue).
