The Camberwell Beauty is one of the many magnificent butterflies that we see here in Virginia in the fall. They are known to be very strong flyers and can often be found outside of their normal range during migration. I’ve tried to capture the Camberwell Beauty’s stunning color and chevron like edging of it’s wings in the stitch pattern of the Camberwell Cowl.
The Camberwell Cowl is a lot of fun to knit and give. You can make the cowl and matching mitts from one full skein of Breathless plus the additional two contrasting colors.
This is a great stash busting project. My fantastic test knitters all used leftover fingering weight yarns and their cowls are amazing!
Easy to follow instructions and a photo tutorial for how to block without fold lines makes this a great pattern to take to knit group.
