This design was born a washcloth and matured into a throw. In fact any of theKTstudio washcloth patterns can be transformed to a baby blanket or throw by using bigger yarn and needles. The Cambridge House Throw grew into generous proportions from the Ringlet Stitch Washcloth pattern. Like the washcloth, this throw has wrapped stitches to form a dense border that surrounds the alternating knit-purl structure of the middle section. Solid, tonal, or hand-dyed yarn is suggested to reveal the vivid textures of this stitch combination.

Substitute Yarn: approximately 1700 yards worsted weight (held double strand) OR 850 yards chunky weight (single strand)
