There was a KAL in the Herbert Niebling group with the wonderful Morgenrot pattern.

I decided to add another edge, instead of 334 rows the modified project will have 186 rows. The edge pattern was derived from the Campanula’s edge.

The kind people of »Buchverlag für die Frau« gave me permission to share this edge pattern.

You need the original Morgenrot pattern from the orange reprint booklet for the center!

First start with the original «Morgenrot» pattern: cast on 8 stitches and follow the chart A and repeat the pattern 8 times until row 148.

At row 149: now start with the «Campanula» edge pattern, follow the chart C and repeat the pattern 16 times.

At Row 171: move the marker to the left, the pattern starts 3 stitches later.

After row 186: do the crochet cast off: combine number of stitches shown in the chart and do 9 chain-stitches in between
