Flipflop (tabi) socks with a split between the big toe and rest of the toes. Choice of 1x1 or 2x2 rib cuff, and Faux Rib Heel, or Eye of Partridge heel. There is a narrow cable running down the outside of the sock to keep the knitting interesting.

Gauge: 8spi on 2.5mm needles, 8.5spi on 2.25mm needles.

Needs 4ply or fingering weight sock yarn. 230/300/370m approximately.

Notions: 2.5mm and 2.25mm needles, 230m(300m, 370m) 4ply/fingering weight yarn, 3mm crochet hook (for cast on), tapestry needle (for grafting toe and sewing in ends), and maybe some locking stitch markers or a cable needle if you want. For heelflap, spare pair of 2mm or 2.25mm dpns (double pointed needles)
