This knitted Canadian Flag was created out of my love for knitting and my country! 2017 is Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, so the timing is perfect!

The flag that used to hang in the Council Chambers where I used to work had gold fringe, so I added a gold border to my flag. My flag took one skein each of red and white, and a partial skein of gold. If you want to hang it outside, choose a yarn that will be less likely to fade or rot.
