I designed this cloth as a birthday gift for a Ravelry friend.

This is a variation of the stitch pattern from Donna Kooler’s Encyclopedia of Knitting, Pg 171 (which contains an error, on line nine, in my version of the book).

The pattern is for a 3x3 repeat, which makes a large 12” square that can be used as a lovely washcloth, dishcloth or afghan square.

The pattern contains written directions as well as a chart.

There is a new update to correct a couple of minor errors in the written instructions. The chart is correct and remains the same.
