I can not take credit for this unique pattern. My sister from Hollinger Fiber Farms in Oregon came up with and wrote the pattern for this pony Christmas ornament. With permission I am publishing it here for her on ravelry.

In addition to cotton yarn scraps, you will need to buy 7 mm googly eyes and 1/4” ribbon. 15 feet of ribbon (spool)will make 11 ponies. Gauge isn’t that important. Depending on how tight or loose you knit - go up or down to fit on the candy cane snugly.
