Sometimes it is hard to find a pattern that works for colour changing yarn, they look beautiful in the skein /or ball but what do you do with them? You make a beautiful blanket! By combining the colour changing yarn with two other colours, that work with the colour changing yarn (I like to pick colours that are slightly lighter or darker than the colour(s) in the colour changing yarn, which creates clean transitions, but works with the main yarn that you picked). This is a fairly easy pattern to follow and memorize, but there are a few ends to sew in at the end. This blanket will be enjoyed by the little baby that has it’s little toes warmed by the soft yarn or the teenager who secretly covets the blanket and reminds them of you.
