This top is a design from my new book Crochet That Fits. The pattern has NO increases or decreases, and it’s an Advanced Beginner project! Everyone says this looks knitted. Click on the photo to see a close up.

It has a pretty (optional) edging. I also give instructions on how to make the top longer or how to make it into a dress!

You may have noticed the yarn suggested in the book for this top (Nashua Grand Opera) has been discontinued. It is a gorgeous yarn so I’m disappointed, but here’s a link from the Nashua website suggesting other yarns that would be comparable to the Grand Opera. If you do not have access to any of those yarns, I’m sure there are other substitutes. It just needs to be a #3 DK yarn, which is smaller than a #4 worsted/aran yarn but DK is a tiny bit bigger than a #2 sport yarn. If you have questions about any other particular yarn, please contact me (the designer) and I will let you know if the yarn you are asking about, will work. Hers the link to the suggested yarns at the Nashua website.
