From Fishermen’s Sweaters: The best of the old Scottish ganseys were beautiful examples of elaborate artistry and Cape Cod is an expression of my admiration for them. My pattern theme remains closely connected with the sea, but I wanted Cape Cod to be a distinctly feminine design in honour of the inspired knitters of the past.
