This small, pretty cape is ideal for wearing over a low-cut evening dress - or even a strapless wedding dress.
It is made by knitting the lacey, frill edging first. Then, picking up stitches along its length, the main part is worked in beaded stocking stitch using short-row shaping. The neck is tied with a knitted rouleau.

The pattern is for one size - 35ins/89cms long and 9ins/23cms wide at centre back.
It is knitted using 5mm needles, with 2x 4mm double-ended needles for the tie. It needs approx 100x 3mm glass seed beads.
