This smart bag uses reverse Fair Isle patterning to form a series of textured ridges, which separate graphic strips of ‘right way round’ Fair Isle.

Knitted in one piece using pure Ryeland wool from Blacker Yarns, machine felting after sewing up gives the bag a lovely soft look and feel. Leather handles complete the smart look. The handles shown here are leather piped 18inch bag handles in shade Dk Choc from U-handbag.com.

The Cappuccino Bag is approximately 29cm wide and 30cm long, after felting.

The ‘Right and Wrong Side’ Fair Isle Pattern is knitted in Blacker Yarns Pure Ryeland Wool (Aran weight, 100% wool, 70m/76yds per 50g ball. To make the bag, you need 4 x 50g balls of Dark Brown and 2 x 50g balls of Cream.
