Worked in one piece with shoulder seams, the top section of the front and back of this summer basic are identical, and the body is worked in rounds, beginning at the hem. Sleeves are worked with right and left slant increases and short rows are used to create short sleeves and shoulders-- instructions for short rows are included. Hem and cuffs are in rib, and boat neck is finished in reverse stocking stitch. This is magical. Look at the detail photos of how the sleeves grow out of the body. Sleek, suave, discreet, and so European; the kind of thing that becomes addicting to make in different colors, and a superb vehicle for the yarn.

A larger gauge version, K2.27 Summer Top to Knit is also available.
