Capricorn was inspired by my best friend of 20 years, Kim. The quintessential Capricorn, Kim is classy, practical, hardworking, and a true source of comfort to those who have the honour of knowing her, and this scarf mirrors those traits.

Starting with a lush merino and alpaca wool blend, and using a combination of classical cables and lace, this elegant scarf is not only luxurious but versatile. Wear it looped around your neck
several times as a warm scarf to wear on a chilly walk to the office, or draped over your favourite dress for a night on the town.

Although it contains multiple cable and lace combinations, this project is perfect for the adventurous beginner who wishes to sample these techniques while remaining a simple 8 row repeat that is easily remembered after a few repetitions. Lack of border stitches creates a simple yet elegant wave down the length and ends of the scarf. Both written and charted instructions are included for your knitting preference.

Final Measurement:
Width 12 inches/30 cm,, Length 90 inches/ 228 cm
