This pattern is for a crochet version of Captain Marvel’s lucky hat from Captain Marvel #9 by Kelly Sue DeConnick. The pattern is a hybrid between a basic tutorial and a full pattern, with line-by-line instructions mixed with some background information about how the hat came to be that I thought would be helpful as people worked through it.

TLC Essentials was used for the blue part of the hat, with the other two yarns being unknown. However, I’m certain that a single skein in each color of TLC Essentials will be more than enough to complete the whole hat.
