Like many designers on Ravelry, I/we/the four of us work alone and far from our peers, but get to be a part of this giant social circle we call Ravelry.

Thanks to that connection, the four of us were all fans of each other and would ping each other about designs or questions when things came up. Soon the pings became snippets of conversation, and over time, those snippets have grown into a constant 4-way thread of text. It’s become our virtual coffeeshop, where we can touch base and share our thoughts and have a bit of company each day.

In one of those conversations we started talking about the perfect pom pom hat. This collection is based on that exact idea, translated by each of the four of us with our own design perspective in mind.

Different yarns, different stitch patterns, different shapes - but each one a cozy and wintry hat that came out of the “coffeehouse” that we’ve found online through Ravelry.

Each hat represents the places from which we come, and translates our idea of cozy and wintry and what we’d be wearing as we tramp through the snow to visit the other three if we had a real, live shop with a fireplace and steamy mugs to drink from..

Grab a friend, a coffee, and cast on!!!
