Additional Yardage Information: I did not use up the whole two balls of yarn, but only 70g total. That’s about 184 yards, if you want to substitute a different worsted weight yarn.

Additional Sizing Information: For lots of people the hat seems to come out kind of long, so if you’re using a different yarn, larger needles, or your row gauge is off, you might consider leaving out one of the pattern repeats of chart B.

The original hat is 22 cm (8.5”) long and fits a head with a circumference of approx. 54-56 cm (21-22”). The original yarn has a standard gauge of 19 sts/10 cm (4”), but is knit up tightly here on small needles. My gauge over 10 cm (4”) of stockinette stitch with this yarn and the 3.5 mm needles is 22 stitches.
