This is an intermediate level pattern, it uses a number of techniques including post stitches and Bavarian crochet. There is some simple shaping within the pattern.

If you buy both my Caramel Latte Shrug and Caramel Latte Hat patterns you will get the two for $7.98.

This is a loose fitting textured shrug that will fit a wide range of sizes. It is comfortable but stylish and suitable for women of all ages and sizes.
To fit bust size:
Small – Medium: 81 – 96.5cms/32 – 38ins.
Large – Xlarge: 101.5 – 117cms/40 – 46ins.
XXlarge – XXXlarge: 122cms – 137cms/48 – 54ins.
Actual shrug measurements across back from sleeve edge to sleeve edge:
Sm/med: 48cms/19ins
Lge/Xlge: 57cms/22.5ins
Xlge/XXlge: 66cms/26ins

The shrug is easily modified if you don’t fit easily into the size ranges given above and instructions are given within the pattern to enable you to adjust the fit so that it is comfortable for you.
It has been made in one piece and can be left with shorter sleeves and no edging if that is your preference.

To complete the shrug you will need:
MATERIALS
To complete the shrug you will need yarn in 3 colours. I used Sean Sheep Rockbank, 70% wool, 30% soy. Emotive Yarns Taradale would give the same result.
Otherwise any DK/8ply/light worsted weight yarn would work. Preferably with a similar composition.
500mts/550yds Colour1. (cream)
450mts/500yds Colour2. (self striping)
325mts/375mts Colour3. (beige)
Or a total of 1275mts/1425yds - 2000mts/2200yds if you want to use a single colour.

This pattern has been tech edited by the wonderful (and patient) boricuacrochet who can be found here on Ravelry if you are in need of a tech editor.

The pattern is available in both US and UK terms and has been tested thoroughly by the fantastic testers at The Happy Hookers Hangout.
