As with several other projects in Urban Knitter, this pattern has fully fashioned decreases which are important to the polished look. They show off the shaping and announce that thought and care were taken in the making of the garment.

Rather than having one ribbed band across the middle of the jacket there the waist is, there are three: one placed at the lower back and one below each bust-point. This way there is no horizontal line breaking up the overall clean effect, yet there is a great shape within.

Adding a collar is a must, but it is an easy pick-up from a shallow V-neck. Instead of a full sleeve cap, the armhole is angled yet is still refined and fitted making it much easier to set in the sleeves.
