Cardigan Christine
I designed this cardigan for my dear friend Christine. She is not a knitter herself, but she loves woolly clothes.
It was an exciting experience to design the cardigan with her. She chose the colours and the classic Peerie pattern and I combined them to create a harmonious look.
We are very happy with the result, and I am looking forward to seeing her in this cardigan.
Do you have someone who would also like to wear such a pretty cardigan?

General Information for Construction
The cardigan is knitted in the round from the bottom up to the underarm including a steek for the front opening. Steek stitches are added for the armhole and neckline before continuing in the round to the shoulders. Armhole steek stitches are cut open. Sleeves stitches are picked up. Sleeve caps are worked in short rows (fair-isle-flat). Then the sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round. The neckline is cut open and stitches are picked up. The neckline is closed with a collar border. Then for the hood, the sts are picked up from the right. The hood is also worked in rounds including a steek.
Finally, the entire cardigan is edged with an I-cord and closed with a zipper at the front.
