Cardigan Gudrun
My latest creation is a uniquely designed short coat, crafted to be your go-to garment for any occasion. It starts with a simple peerie pattern, transitions into a classic overall pattern in the body area and is completed with a colourful border. As a special feature, pockets are included in the border area. This versatile coat is equipped to handle any weather condition with a protective hood. It closes with a two-way zipper to easily adjust to fit.
This short coat is sure to become your new favourite piece.

General Information for Construction
Cardigan Gudrun starts at the centre front. First, a few German Short Rows are worked to shape the neckline. Then, steek stitches are picked up and the work is joined in the round. After the raglan increases in Chart A, the sleeves are separated from the body and worked in Chart B. During the progression of Chart C, pockets are added.
Later, the sleeve stitches are picked up again and worked in the round to the cuff. The sleeve pattern is adapted to the body. At the end, stitches are picked up from the neckline and a hood is worked. Finally, the cardigan is finished with a complete I-cord and a two-way zipper is sewn in.

Knitting technique
Top-down construction with raglan sleeves, stranded colourwork, two colours per round, steeking, I-Cord, German Short Rows, single crochet stitches, seamless
