About the pattern

This Cardigan works seamlessly from the top down. Both the back and the front are worked in stockinette stitch. Knitting starts with the cast-on stitches for the shoulders and the back. The back is worked flat to underarm. Shoulder stitches are picked up to the cast-on and the front to the same length. At the underarm, both fronts and back are joined to work the body top down back and forth to the bottom hem. And Ribbing edging is worked on next. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the arm openings to work the sleeves top down in the round in stockinette stitch and have a beautiful decrease with pleats.

Noteº1: Before starting your project, make a swatch to ensure you are getting gauge and that your sweater will come to the correct final measurements. If you have more stitches per inch than indicated, your tension is tighter, and you must go up a needle size or two. If you have fewer stitches per inch than indicated, your tension is looser, and you need to go down a needle size or two.

Noteº2: If you changed the size of your main needles to obtain a gauge, you would also have to change the sizes of your ribbing and cuff needles to 1 and 3 times smaller, respectively.

Acerca del patrón

Este cárdigan se teje sin costuras de arriba abajo. Tanto la parte trasera como la delantera se trabajan en punto jersey. El tejido comienza desde arriba hacia abajo, montando los puntos desde el hombro. La parte trasera se trabaja de forma plana hasta la axila, los cuales se dejan en espera, para retomarlos posteriormente. Luego desde los hombros se montan los puntos del delantero y se trabaja la parte delantera hasta la misma longitud. La parte delantera como la trasera se unen para tejer el cuerpo de arriba abajo en plano hasta el borde inferior. Luego se trabaja la pretina en punto elástico. Se recogen los puntos de las mangas alrededor de las aberturas de los brazos para tejer las mangas en circular en punto jersey y tienen una hermosa disminución con pliegues.
