Careen Lace is an openwork crisscross mesh design accented with decorative edge options; beaded, fringed or a plain edge. It’s perfect to be worn either dressy or casual. Detailed instructions are included for the beaded edge, fringed edge and a plain version with no beads or fringe. Blocking is recommended for a mesh look, (blocking instructions included) but can easily be worn without blocking. The models were knit in sock yarn as a quick stash buster. It can be knit in any yarn weight, by adjusting the needle size accordingly.
