This is a lovely project for a near beginner who wants to practise their knit and purl stitches. Complete beginners can knit the one colour version using standard cast on and cast off techniques. More experienced knitters can return to this project to knit the two colour version, using stretchy cast on and rib cast off to refine the edge. Both techniques are covered in the book.
